He told Essex Police the accuser and her friends were fabricating their claims, a police interview played in court revealed. Christopher Stannard has pleaded guilty to burglary of the woman's flat.
Three men from London have been arrested by Essex Police following a stabbing incident at a hotel event in North Stifford, Essex. The arrests were made on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent after four people sustained injuries.
Shyeem Chisholm, 26, has been sentenced to five years and seven months in prison for his involvement in a drug dealing operation. He admitted to being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, heroin, and cannabis.

Max Matthews, 31, of Albion Drive, Hackney, was sentenced to 12 years and six months for leading a crime group that trafficked 74kg of cocaine, 12.5kg of heroin and 50kg of cannabis. He was extradited from Dubai in February 2026 after absconding in 2021.

Noble Nwokocha, known as ‘Drilla’, claimed he was forced to hold the weapon but was jailed regardless.

Dylan Patel, 26, from Southall, was piloting a two-seat Cessna that crashed in a field off Mill Lane, Ongar, killing both occupants. Essex Police have opened a criminal investigation, suspending the inquest until its conclusion. Post-mortems found both men died from multiple injuries.
