A man received medical treatment after an alleged assault outside a Tesco Express on Manchester Road, Isle of Dogs. Paramedics were called to the scene on August 25, and police and forensic officers were later present.

Police arrested a man on suspicion of drug supply, dangerous driving and bail breach after a chase in the Isle of Dogs on 16 August. The pursuit began on The Highway and ended near Cheval Street. Officers have appealed for public information.

Tower Hamlets Council has spent £2.3 million on consulting fees for the South Dock Bridge, now estimated to cost £25 million. The project, delayed since 2017, may not proceed despite 96% resident support in a 2018 consultation. Developers and residents paid extra for the crossing, which remains unbuilt.
