Defence minister Luke Pollard has urged social media companies to remove dangerous driving videos after a crash on the A66 near Middlesbrough killed two police officers and five teenagers. Fundraisers for the officers' families have raised over £200,000.

A woman was subjected to verbal abuse on a bus after refusing to allow a man to sit next to her. The confrontation, recorded on video, shows the man arguing with the woman and accusing her of rudeness. Another passenger intervened.
