A 21-year-old man has been charged with five counts of racially and religiously aggravated criminal damage. The charges relate to graffiti attacks on five Muslim venues in Leyton and Stratford in January 2025, with the suspect due to appear in court.

Stephen Bear has been sentenced to 24 weeks in prison for five breaches of sex offender register rules, including failing to report a trip to Brazil. The 36-year-old, jailed in 2023 for sharing a private sex tape of Georgia Harrison, did not notify police of his travel or new documents, Thames Magistrates’ Court heard.

Stephen Bear pleaded guilty at Thames Magistrates’ Court to five counts of failing to comply with sex offenders register requirements. He faces sentencing at Chelmsford Crown Court on 7 August 2026 for breaching a restraining order unrelated to these offences.
