Reality television personality Georgia Harrison has visited Downing Street to meet the Prime Minister. The meeting formed part of Ms Harrison's campaigning efforts against violence against women and girls, a cause she has championed following her own experience as a victim of revenge porn.

Ms Harrison, who was awarded an MBE in October for services to tackling online privacy and cybercrime awareness, spoke to The Standard about her surprise at the Prime Minister's demeanour. She described the leader as "down to earth and genuine".

Her ex-boyfriend, Stephen Bear, was sentenced in August to over a year in prison for breaching a restraining order. This order was linked to his conviction for filming a sexual encounter without consent and distributing the footage online.

Speaking at the National Theatre Awards, Ms Harrison expressed her disbelief at the opportunities her campaigning work has provided. "I just keep walking into rooms and just thinking, I cannot believe I'm here," she told The Standard. She also mentioned having met Prince William and expressed an ambition to meet King Charles.
