Tesla crashes into Tower Hamlets home

A Tesla car collided with the front of a residential property on Old Ford Road in Tower Hamlets on Monday morning. The driver of the vehicle was reported to have escaped the incident unscathed. No injuries have been reported from the collision.

Eyewitness Account of Damage

An eyewitness, Oliver McGough, 35, described the scene, stating it appeared as though the car had driven through the living room of the Victorian home. McGough, a local cyclist, observed that the structure did not appear sound following the impact. He also noted that speeding vehicles are a regular occurrence on the road, which has a 20mph speed limit.

Photographs from the scene showed the Tesla Model 3 with its airbags deployed and the driver's door ajar. A box of Smartwhip cream chargers, typically used for whipping cream and containing nitrous oxide, was visible near the crashed vehicle. The Metropolitan Police were contacted for comment, and a cordon at the scene has since been removed.
