Councillor Miller, formerly of Reform UK, resigned from the party after an ITV News investigation filmed him making alleged controversial remarks. He now sits as an Independent councillor for the St Paul’s Cray ward.
Allegations of controversial remarks
The ITV News investigation, which featured multiple Reform UK councillors, activists, and party members, reportedly recorded Councillor Miller making several contentious statements. These included claims that "We've been ethnically cleansed out of London," and observations about the demographic changes in Bromley, stating, "Because you never used to get any blacks over in Bromley, and now Bromley [has] massive Nigerian communities there." He also allegedly linked local black children to vandalism, stating, "Like all the ethnic f****** kids, they're not white, they're all f****** black, and they're like f****** animals. It's horrible to say it. I'm not racist."
Further allegations include fears that "Islam was going to be that thing that takes over everything," and a claim that King Charles was a Muslim. This was reportedly described by Councillor Miller as "f****** traitorous," followed by an alleged call for the monarch’s beheading. He was recorded saying, "Apparently King Charles is a f****** Muslim. Someone from the inside saw a f****** prayer mat and all that in one of his f****** rooms. I think that's f****** traitorous. Cut the c**t's head off, sorry."
