Karim Ben Ali, 38, from Ealing, appeared at Inner London Crown Court on Friday facing multiple charges. He is accused of threatening to kill Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley and of sending a message conveying a threat of serious harm to the judiciary. The court heard the alleged threats were made on May 12 and June 12 last year.

Mr Ben Ali, of Lowfield Road, Ealing, is also charged with breaching a restraining order. This relates to allegations of sending malicious emails to the Metropolitan Police and Isleworth Crown Court, and making threats to people's lives. These alleged offences occurred between April 28, 2024, and June 19 this year, as reported by MyLondon.

He appeared via videolink from Wandsworth prison and spoke only to confirm his name. Mr Justice Richards remanded him in custody, stating that his case was now under way in the crown court. A further hearing is scheduled for October 8 to map out the progress of the case.
