Edgware man jailed for selling guns after manslaughter release
Faisal Razzaq, who served time for manslaughter, supplied firearms across London.
Faisal Razzaq, who was released on parole in 2017 after serving 11 years for manslaughter, has admitted to supplying banned firearms and ammunition to criminals across London. Razzaq, who was living in Edgware, north London, at the time, is one of six individuals due to be sentenced at Harrow Crown Court on 23 October for their involvement in a firearms conspiracy.
Central role in firearms conspiracy
Prosecution barrister Alisdair Smith told the court that Razzaq played a central role in the conspiracy, coordinating the acquisition and distribution of prohibited firearms and lethal ammunition. The court heard that Razzaq, along with brothers Robert and Ricky Dorey and Abdul Saleh, was involved in the sale of 10 revolvers within a single month. Razzaq also informed his contacts that he would sell weapons to 'anyone'.
Further details revealed that Razzaq instructed Saleh to shoot police officers if they attempted to detain him, stating: 'I don't care where you shoot but you've got to shoot bro.' Razzaq previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to sell or transfer banned guns, possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life, and two counts of possessing a firearm and ammunition when banned.
Other defendants awaiting sentence
Also due to be sentenced are Patrick Loughnane, 59, brothers Robert Dorey, 45, and Ricky Dorey, 44, Abdul Saleh, 32, and Tammy Rigg, 40. Rigg agreed to store a converted firearm at her home. Judge Hannah Kinch will preside over the sentencing hearing on 23 October.
