Charges Laid Against Four Men
Andreas Nicolas, 64, of Duxford, Cambridgeshire, has been charged with possession of a firearm and possession of a weapon designed to discharge electricity. He was rearrested on September 30 after property searches uncovered suspected weapons. Nicolas is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on October 1, having been remanded in custody. Charles Charalambous, 56, of Claremont Road, Cockfosters, has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm to resist arrest. This charge relates to an incident where a police officer was reportedly stabbed while executing a warrant. Carl Robinson, 49, of Stanford Rivers, Essex, faces charges for possession of three knives in a private place. Bradley Byford, 37, of Spellbrook Lane East, Bishop’s Stortford, has been charged with possession of an electricity-discharging weapon.
