Jeffrey Dean Rose, 46, has been charged with manslaughter and aggravated burglary with intent in connection with the death of a 75-year-old woman in Finsbury Park. The Metropolitan Police stated that officers were called to Tollington Park at 9:20 PM on Tuesday, August 11th, following reports of a burglary.

Officers attended the scene with the London Ambulance Service. A woman, identified as Rose Smith, was taken to hospital. She sadly died the following day, August 12th. Ms Smith's family is being supported by specialist officers, the Metropolitan Police reported.

An investigation was launched into the incident. On Friday, August 21st, a 46-year-old man was arrested. Jeffrey Dean Rose, born on June 11th, 1980, and residing at Apsley Close, North Harrow, was subsequently charged. The charges include manslaughter and aggravated burglary with intent.
