Joshua Cammidge, aged 31, has been charged with offences under the National Security Act. The charges were authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service following an investigation led by Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) London. Cammidge was arrested in Swindon on Friday, September 4, and taken to a London police station.

Searches were conducted at an address in Swindon following his arrest. Cammidge, a British national, is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 10.
