A Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with two counts of sexual assault. PC Islam Abdel-Hady, 43, faces allegations relating to two separate incidents involving women known to him. The alleged assaults are said to have taken place in January 2020 and February of the previous year.
PC Abdel-Hady is attached to the Met's west area basic command unit, which covers the boroughs of Ealing, Hounslow, and Hillingdon. He has been suspended from duty following the charges.
He is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 5.
