Political activist Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, appeared at Southwark Crown Court on Friday. He faces two charges of harassment causing fear of violence, which relate to alleged actions targeting MailOnline reporters Andrew Young and Jacob Dirnhuber. His trial is scheduled for October 19 at the same court.

The charges stem from alleged incidents between August 5 and 7, 2024. Robinson is accused of harassment through posts and direct messages on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, and an alleged phone call. During this call on August 5, he is accused of telling Mr Young, "I’m coming to get you." A direct message allegedly sent to Mr Dirnhuber on the same day stated, "I’ll be knocking at your door."

Robinson, 43, appeared in court wearing a dark blue suit and black tie. He spoke only to confirm his name. He had previously entered not guilty pleas to the charges in July of last year.
