A comprehensive file of evidence was submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) in February 2025. Following further inquiries, the CPS authorised the charges.
Hall is scheduled to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on 27 August 2026. The IOPC stated that Hall was based in Swansea during his service with South Wales Police.
