Ten fire engines and approximately 70 firefighters responded to a gas cylinder fire near a railway arch on Silwood Street, Bermondsey. The London Fire Brigade received the call shortly after 8pm on Wednesday, October 8. The fire was brought under control by around 9.15pm.
