These warnings stipulate conditions that recipients must adhere to, including a prohibition on coming to Dartford for the purpose of racing cars or spectating at races.
Failure to comply with the conditions of a community protection warning can result in the issuance of a community protection notice. Further breaches of this notice may lead to fines or other legal consequences. Prohibited behaviours also include revving engines, performing stunts, and creating excessive noise.
Targeted Hotspot Areas
Throughout September, police conducted patrols using both marked and unmarked vehicles in known problem areas. These hotspot locations for nuisance driving included Bob Dunn Way, University Way, and Crossways Boulevard. The aim of these patrols was to deter and address anti-social driving behaviour.
Councillor Jeremy Kite, Leader of Dartford Borough Council, emphasised the council's commitment to addressing the issue. Councillor Kite affirmed that Dartford is not a racetrack and that action will continue against offenders.
