Barnet police search for missing 67-year-old Miroslaw near hospital

Police in Barnet are searching for Miroslaw, 67, who was last seen near Barnet Hospital on the morning of 8 August 2026. Officers confirmed he was wearing a navy tracksuit top with a stripe on the sleeves and denim jeans when he disappeared.

The Metropolitan Police said they are reviewing hours of CCTV footage from the area. They believe Miroslaw may have used public transport, including buses or trains, to travel elsewhere in London or nearby counties.

Public appeal for information

PC Aysen Luker, who is leading the investigation, said the police are growing increasingly concerned for Miroslaw’s welfare. She urged anyone who recognises him to contact the police immediately.

Members of the public who see Miroslaw or have information about his whereabouts are asked to call 999 and quote the reference CAD 2575/08AUG26. The police have not disclosed whether they have identified any specific leads from the CCTV footage.
