Four men sought after Teddington ATM theft on Kingston Road

Metropolitan Police are searching for four men after an ATM was stolen from outside a Londis convenience store on Kingston Road in Teddington. The theft occurred at 00:53 on 29 July 2026, when a blue car reversed onto the pavement and used straps to drag the cash machine from its mounting.

CCTV footage shows one of the suspects, wearing a black top, jeans and a beanie, attaching straps to the ATM before attempting to smash it with a hammer. The car then accelerated, tearing the machine from the pavement and leaving debris scattered across the street.

Abandoned vehicle seized

A Met Police spokesperson confirmed that no arrests have been made, but an abandoned vehicle linked to the incident has been recovered. Officers are continuing their investigation to identify the four suspects believed to be involved.

A local resident told MyLondon they had seen the ATM lying on its side on the pavement the morning before the theft. They initially assumed a vehicle had crashed into it, not realising it had been targeted by thieves.
