Home Counties See Higher Weapon Possession Rates Than London
A recent study analysing crime data from March 2025 to March 2026 found that several Home Counties police force areas experienced higher rates of weapon possession offences than London. Sussex recorded the highest rate among these areas, nearly double the London average.

Courts · BromleySudbury man banned for three years after throwing vape at Bromley FC match
A 32-year-old from Sudbury has received a three-year football banning order after admitting to throwing a vape onto the pitch during a Bromley FC match in March. The ban prevents him from attending Colchester United and England international matches. Two other men were also banned for public order offences.
