British Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images of four young men they wish to speak to after a teenage boy was robbed on a train. The incident took place on Friday, July 22, at approximately 5:30pm.

The victim was travelling on a train between Beckenham Junction and Shortlands when a group of boys approached him. During a struggle, his phone was stolen and his jacket was ripped. The group then left the train at Shortlands railway station.

Police appeal for information

Officers believe the individuals pictured in the CCTV images may have information that could assist their investigation. Anyone who recognises the young men is urged to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 937 of July 22.

Information can also be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
