British Transport Police release CCTV images of man wanted for attacks at Waterloo and near Euston
British Transport Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to identify in connection with two sexual assaults on Northern line trains. The attacks occurred within three days of each other at Waterloo and near Euston stations.
The first incident took place at Waterloo Underground station at around 8.40pm on 1 August. A British Transport Police spokesperson said the suspect exposed himself before assaulting a woman on board a Northern line train. He then left the service and boarded a northbound train.
Second attack near Euston
Two days later, at approximately 8pm on 3 August, the same man is believed to have sexually assaulted another woman on a Northern line train near Euston. Police have not disclosed further details about the second victim or the exact location of the attack.
Detectives investigating the assaults said the man in the CCTV images could have information that may assist their enquiries. They are urging anyone who recognises him to come forward.
