£20,000 reward offered for information on Kilburn murder

An enhanced reward of up to £20,000 is now available for information that leads to the conviction of those responsible for the murder of Tikquaan Stephenson-Walters. Mr Stephenson-Walters, aged 28, was shot at close range on Bravington Road in Kilburn on the evening of 4 September 2024. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services.

Ongoing Investigation

The Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime Command has been investigating the incident and has confirmed that four arrests have been made to date. However, the suspect or suspects responsible for the fatal shooting have not yet been apprehended. Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley stated that the investigation is continuing, with all lines of enquiry being pursued to ensure those responsible are held to account. New CCTV footage of a man in the area shortly before the attack has been released in an effort to identify further witnesses or suspects.

Mr Stephenson-Walters' family, who are receiving support from specialist officers, described their loss as a "heartbreaking tragedy" and appealed for public assistance. They stated that information from the public could be key to bringing justice and closure. Alexa Loukas, London Regional Manager at Crimestoppers, emphasised the charity's commitment to anonymity for anyone providing information. She noted that details can be passed on without the need to speak directly to the police, attend court, or provide a witness statement.

The reward offered by Crimestoppers is exclusively for information received directly by the charity through its website or by telephone. Information provided directly to the police will not be eligible for this reward. The offer is valid until 19 November 2026.
