Boy, 16, stabbed in Dagenham street fight

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in Porters Avenue, Dagenham, on Thursday, September 3. Police were called to reports of a fight at approximately 6:01 PM. Officers attended the scene and found the boy with stab injuries. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. His injuries were assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing, according to a Met Police spokesperson.

Arrest Made at Scene

Another boy, also aged 16, was arrested at the scene. He was taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder, affray, and possession of an offensive weapon. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. Police have stated there is no wider risk to the public.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed they were called at 7:01 PM to reports of an assault in Martins Corner near Wood Lane, Dagenham. An ambulance crew was dispatched, and a patient was treated at the scene before being transported to hospital.
