Investigation and arrests
Following Ms Bale's death, six individuals were arrested on suspicion of murder. These included four women aged 20, 21, 23 and 26, and two men aged 21 and 24. All have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, who is leading the investigation, stated that officers have spoken with a number of witnesses. He is continuing to appeal for anyone with information, however minor it may seem, to contact the police.
Family statement
Ms Bale's family released a statement describing her as a "brilliant young woman filled with dreams" and a "bright light whose loss has left an immeasurable void in our lives." They added that she embodied hope, resilience, and love, and was a beloved friend, daughter, and sister who cherished life.
