Clara Bale, 23, named as victim in Islington murder probe
Police have arrested six people on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a woman's body on Bollinder Place.
Police have named the woman who died following an incident at an address on Bollinder Place in Islington as 23-year-old Clara Bale. Officers were called to the scene at 09:33hrs on Thursday, 6 August, after concerns were raised about the welfare of a woman inside the property. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service also attended, but Ms Bale was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Investigation and Arrests
A murder investigation was subsequently launched by the Metropolitan Police. As part of their enquiries, officers arrested four women, aged 20, 21, 23 and 26, and two men, aged 21 and 24, at the address on suspicion of murder. All six individuals have since been released on bail while the investigation continues. Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller is leading the inquiry.
Detective Chief Inspector Waller stated that the investigation is progressing well, with officers speaking to witnesses to establish the events leading up to Ms Bale's death. He appealed to the public for any information, however small, that could assist the police.

Family Tribute
Ms Bale's family have released a tribute describing her as a 'brilliant young woman filled with dreams, a bright light whose loss has left an immeasurable void in our lives'. They added that she 'embodied hope, resilience and love' and that her 'inspiring aura was felt in every room she entered'. The family stated their hearts 'bleed with grief' and that they will 'forever miss her smile, her presence and her humanity'.
