Cyclist, 24, killed in Ladbroke Grove hit and run

A 24-year-old e-bike cyclist has died following a hit and run collision in Ladbroke Grove. The incident occurred on North Pole Road at approximately 1:15 am on Friday, September 25. Police have launched a manhunt for a moped driver who fled the scene.

The victim's family has been informed of his death, but he has not yet been formally named or pictured. Emergency services were called to the scene at 1:22 am by London Ambulance Service, which dispatched multiple resources. The first paramedic arrived within two minutes, but the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation Underway

Detective Chief Inspector Phil Wilkins, leading the investigation from Hammersmith and Fulham CID, stated that their thoughts are with the man's family. He confirmed a full investigation is underway to trace the moped driver. Police are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area around the time of the collision and saw either the e-bike or the moped to come forward with any information.

North Pole Road was closed for forensic examination for approximately 14 hours following the incident. This closure caused diversions for London bus routes 7 and 70.
