Kariem Abdelhalim named as victim of fatal North Kensington collision
Police believe the 24-year-old was being chased on an e-bike before the incident.
Incident → evidence → outcomePolice have named Kariem Abdelhalim, aged 24, as the man who died in a collision in North Kensington. Officers were called to North Pole Road at around 1:20 AM on Friday, September 25th, where Mr. Abdelhalim was found with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation into collision
Detectives leading the investigation believe Mr. Abdelhalim was riding an e-bike and was being pursued by a moped shortly before the collision occurred. His next of kin are being supported by specialist officers.
Arrests made
A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on Tuesday, September 28th, on suspicion of murder. They remain in police custody. Detective Chief Inspector Neil John, who is leading the investigation, has appealed for public assistance.
