Man arrested after Harrow town centre assault leaves victim in hospital

A 30-year-old man was arrested in Harrow town centre after an assault outside Trinity Bar on Station Road in the early hours of 8 August 2026. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and said the man remains in custody.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 03:29 on Saturday morning. A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital following the assault. The police have not yet provided an update on his condition, as reported by MyLondon.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: "At around 03.29hrs on Saturday, 8 August, police were called by London Ambulance Service to reports of an assault on Station Road, Harrow. A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital, and we are awaiting an update on his condition."

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the assault to contact them. Witnesses or those with relevant details are asked to call 101 and quote reference CAD1145/08AUG. The investigation remains active, and no further arrests have been made.

The incident occurred in a busy part of Harrow town centre, near shops and transport links. Trinity Bar is located on Station Road, close to Harrow-on-the-Hill station. The police have not confirmed whether the victim and the suspect were known to each other.
