Man assaulted on Seven Sisters Road; police investigate

Police have established a cordon on Seven Sisters Road in Islington following an assault that occurred late on August 26. Officers and a forensics team were present at the scene on the morning of August 27, with one lane of the road remaining shut from Holloway Road to Hertslet Road.

The London Ambulance Service confirmed that a man was assaulted on Seven Sisters Road at around 10:35pm. The service dispatched multiple resources, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic, an incident response officer, and a trauma team from London's Air Ambulance. The first paramedic arrived within five minutes.

Victim taken to major trauma centre

The assaulted man received treatment at the scene before being transported to a major trauma centre as a priority. The Metropolitan Police have not yet released details regarding the extent of the man's injuries. A blue tent was observed behind the police cordon near the junction with Hertslet Road, outside The Enkel Arms pub.

Transport disruptions and ongoing investigation

Transport for London confirmed that a number of bus routes were diverted away from the affected area, causing traffic to move slowly. Police continue to guard the scene while the forensics team gathers evidence. The nature of the incident and further details are still unclear.
