Alan Dore, 48, appeared at the Old Bailey on August 24 charged with the murder of Samantha Turner and the attempted murder of Keeley Turner. The charges follow an incident on August 18 in Shepherd's Bush.

Samantha Turner, 52, died at the scene on Askew Road. Her daughter, Keeley Turner, 32, was allegedly stabbed twice during the same incident. The prosecutor described the events as a 'murderous attack' involving a knife within a domestic setting, as reported by This Is Local London.

The court heard that Keeley Turner went downstairs after hearing her mother scream. She was allegedly stabbed in the abdomen and then the back when she tried to intervene. Keeley Turner made a 999 call at 8.19am. Samantha Turner was found on the kitchen floor and pronounced dead at 8.54am.

Alan Dore, who had been in a relationship with Samantha Turner for approximately one year, was arrested at the property. He remains in custody.

Court Proceedings

A plea hearing for Alan Dore is scheduled for November 9. A provisional trial date has been set for May 17.
