Man sought over Vauxhall station sexual assault

Incident → evidence → outcomeBritish Transport Police (BTP) have launched a CCTV appeal to identify a man they need to speak to in connection with a sexual assault that occurred outside Vauxhall station. The incident took place shortly after 8am on Sunday, August 30.
According to BTP, an unidentified man spoke inappropriately to the victim near the Tube entrance before subjecting her to a sexual assault. The man then walked away from the scene. He has not yet been arrested.
CCTV Appeal Released
On Friday, October 2, BTP released footage in an effort to identify the individual. Detectives believe the man pictured may possess information that could assist their investigation, the force stated in an announcement.
The images show a Black man with short black hair and a slight moustache, who appears to be in his late 20s or 30s. He was observed wearing a yellow shirt or polo shirt and a black jacket.
