Emergency services were called to the location at around 10:45 am following reports of the attack. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to a major trauma centre. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that his injuries are not considered life-threatening or life-changing.
Police investigation underway
Officers are currently investigating the stabbing and are working to identify a suspect. As of the afternoon of September 21, no arrests had been made. The force is urging any witnesses to come forward to assist with the ongoing inquiry.
The London Ambulance Service dispatched an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer to the scene. A spokesperson stated they treated a patient and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority.
