Man stabbed on Well Street in Hackney

A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed on Well Street in Hackney on August 26. Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 1:20pm, with paramedics and London's Air Ambulance treating the victim before he was transported to a major trauma centre. Road and Bus Diversions

Following the incident, Well Street was closed in both directions between Frampton Park Road and Holcroft Road. This closure caused traffic delays in the surrounding area. Transport for London confirmed that bus routes 26, 277, and 388 were diverted away from the affected street. The London Ambulance Service confirmed that a patient was taken to hospital as a priority.

The London Ambulance Service stated that they were called at 1:18pm on August 26 to reports of a stabbing on Well Street, Hackney. They dispatched an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars, an incident response officer, and London's Air Ambulance. The first paramedic arrived at the scene in under six minutes. The patient received treatment at the location before being taken by road to a major trauma centre.
