Man stabbed outside Moorgate gym, discharged after hospital treatment

A man was treated in hospital after being stabbed outside a gym in Moorgate late on Wednesday night. The incident occurred on South Place, near the entrance to Third Space, at approximately 11:20 pm on 13 August 2026.

City of London Police officers arrived to find a heavy presence already in place. Images from the scene showed at least three police cars and two vans blocking the road, while a cordon was set up outside the gym.

Victim discharged after treatment

The victim, a man, was taken to hospital following the attack. City of London Police later confirmed he had been discharged. The force did not release further details about his condition or identity.
