A man in his 40s has sustained potentially life-changing stab wounds following an incident on Vauxhall Bridge Road in Westminster. The Metropolitan Police were called to reports of an altercation at approximately 3:10 am on Tuesday, October 6th.

Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance. They located a man in his 40s suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where his injuries are described as potentially life-changing, according to a Metropolitan Police spokesperson.

Arrest Made

A 39-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. She remains in custody and enquiries are ongoing. The police have cordoned off Vauxhall Bridge Road in the Victoria area, with the cordon in place between the HSBC bank and the Apollo Victoria Theatre.
