Emergency Response
An ambulance crew and paramedics in fast response cars were sent to the location. They were joined by a trauma team from London's Air Ambulance. The first paramedic reached the scene within six minutes of the initial report. The injured man received medical attention before being transported to hospital as a priority.

Following the incident, a police crime scene was put in place. The cordon was erected at the entrance to Turnant Road from Lordship Lane.
