Nine males, aged between 13 and 21, were arrested following an aggravated burglary at business premises on Beddington Lane in Sutton. The Metropolitan Police were called to the scene at 2.45am on Monday, August 24, after receiving reports of the incident. Officers detained the nine individuals on suspicion of aggravated burglary and possession of an offensive weapon. A further arrest was made of a 21-year-old on suspicion of vehicle theft.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. The investigation remains active, and a crime scene was still in place on Beddington Lane. Residents in the Beddington Industrial Area reported a significant police presence from approximately 3.30am on the day of the incident. The premises involved, a car wash, is situated within a cluster of commercial and industrial businesses.

All nine individuals arrested have since been bailed pending further police enquiries. The Metropolitan Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
