Reward increased for information on Kilburn fatal shooting

Detectives investigating the murder of Tikquaan Stephenson-Walters have released new CCTV footage as they mark two years since his death. A reward of up to £20,000 is being offered by the independent charity Crimestoppers for information leading to the conviction of those responsible for his killing.

Mr Stephenson-Walters, 28, was shot at close range by a suspect riding a white Honda moped in Bravington Road, Kilburn. The incident occurred at approximately 23:05hrs on Wednesday, 4 September 2024. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene, but he was pronounced dead at the location.

Renewed Appeal for Information

Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley, from the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime Command, stated that thoughts remain with Mr Stephenson-Walters' loved ones. He reiterated the appeal for anyone with information, particularly those not yet spoken to by police, to come forward. The newly released footage shows a man captured on CCTV in the area shortly before the attack.

DCI Jolley confirmed that four arrests have been made in connection with the murder, and enquiries are continuing. He urged anyone with information, images, or footage to contact the police or Crimestoppers.

Mr Stephenson-Walters' family described their devastation at the loss of his life, noting that he could have been anyone's son, brother, nephew, or friend. They emphasised that any information provided could be crucial in achieving justice and closure.

She reminded the public that Crimestoppers guarantees complete anonymity, does not ask for names or personal details, and can pass information to police without the need for individuals to speak to officers or attend court.

The reward of up to £20,000 is offered for information exclusively received by Crimestoppers via its website or by calling 0800 555 111 that leads to a conviction. Information passed directly to the police will not qualify for this reward. The offer is set to expire on Thursday, 19 November 2026.
