The victim received treatment at the scene before being transported to hospital. His injuries have been assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
Arrest and Further Allegations
A second 16-year-old boy was apprehended at the location. He was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, affray, and possession of an offensive weapon. The arrested teenager remains in police custody. Enquiries into the incident are continuing.
