Three arrested after Ilford double stabbing

Police were called to an altercation on Rutland Road in Ilford at 4:32 am on Sunday, October 4th. Officers attended the scene with the London Ambulance Service and found two men in their 20s who had sustained stab wounds. A third man, also in his 20s, suffered minor injuries.

One of the men treated for stab wounds is not believed to have life-threatening or life-changing injuries. The condition of the second man with stab wounds was not known at the time of the report. All three victims were taken to hospital.

Arrests made

Three suspects, aged 20, 29, and 31, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. They remain in custody as police enquiries continue. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated that anyone with information should contact officers on 101, quoting reference CAD1273/4OCT.
