Two people have been charged with sexual offences after two women reported assaults at a property in Brick Street, Mayfair. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the charges on 13 August, following arrests made earlier this month.

Vijay Aggarwal, 57, of Brick Street, faces four counts of sexual assault. The alleged incidents occurred on 26 May and 9 August at the same address. Aggarwal appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 13 August and was remanded in custody.

Manpreet Kaur, 41, also of Brick Street, is charged with two counts of intentionally encouraging or assisting the commission of sexual assault. She appeared alongside Aggarwal at the same hearing and was also remanded in custody.

Next court appearance set for September

Both defendants will next appear at Southwark Crown Court on 10 September. The Metropolitan Police stated that the two women who reported the assaults are receiving support from specialist officers.

Police attended the Brick Street property on 11 August, where Aggarwal and Kaur were arrested. A 23-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were also arrested on the same day in connection with the investigation. Both were later released on bail pending further enquiries.
