Two men injured in Marble Arch assault, no arrests made
Police appeal for witnesses after attack near Oxford Street on 12 August 2026
Two men were injured in an assault near Marble Arch in Westminster on the evening of 12 August 2026. Police were called to the scene at 9:16 pm and found both men with injuries.
A 21-year-old man suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital. The Metropolitan Police confirmed his condition was assessed as not life-threatening. A second man was treated at the scene for injuries that were also not life-threatening.
Police investigation ongoing
The Metropolitan Police have not confirmed whether a bottle or any other weapon was used in the assault. No arrests have been made as of 13 August 2026.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance treated one patient at the scene before transporting him to a major trauma centre. Ambulance crews and a paramedic in a fast response car also attended.
