Police are investigating a potential link between two stabbings that occurred on October 9 in Dagenham, which left two teenagers with life-threatening injuries. A 19-year-old man was found injured on Terrace Walk and a 17-year-old boy was stabbed on Fanshawe Crescent. Both were taken to hospital with injuries described as life-threatening.
Investigation into connected incidents
The two stabbing locations are less than a mile apart. Police received reports of the incidents within two minutes of each other on the evening of October 9. Detectives are treating the stabbings as linked and enquiries are ongoing. London's Air Ambulance landed near Parsloes Park, close to the scenes, but was not required to transport either victim to hospital. Both teenagers remain in hospital.
