Two teenagers are in a critical condition in hospital after suffering life-threatening stab wounds in Dagenham. The Metropolitan Police were called to two separate incidents on Friday, October 9, which they are now treating as linked.

Officers first attended Terrace Walk at approximately 6:10 pm following reports of a stabbing. They found a 19-year-old male with injuries described as life-threatening. He was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon and remains in hospital.

Just two minutes later, at 6:12 pm, police were called to Fanshawe Crescent, a street across from Terrace Walk. There, they discovered a 17-year-old male who had also sustained life-threatening stab wounds. He too was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon and remains in hospital.

Emergency Response

The London Ambulance Service dispatched multiple resources to the scenes, including two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and London's Air Ambulance. Both teenagers were transported to a major trauma centre by road. The service received the initial call at 6:07 pm for Terrace Walk and a further call at 6:10 pm for Fanshawe Crescent.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated that enquiries into the incidents are ongoing. The force is appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
