A man in his 20s was shot on Kings Drive, Wembley, at 3.54 am on 20 August 2026. He was taken to hospital and remains in a non-life-threatening condition, Metropolitan Police said.

Kings Drive has been closed since the incident. Only residents are allowed to enter the street, which runs between Greenhill Way and Regalia Way in the Sudbury neighbourhood.

Police response and investigation

Detective Chief Superintendent Luke Williams, who leads policing in Brent, said officers are pursuing several lines of inquiry. No arrests have been made.
