Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell stated, "This is a deeply tragic incident, and our thoughts remain firmly with the woman’s family during this difficult time." Superintendent James Herring, who leads policing for the local area, has indicated that the incident is believed to be isolated and poses no wider risk to the public.
