Man jailed for life over Israeli embassy knife attack plot

The Old Bailey heard that Albadri, who was born in Kuwait, was found guilty of attempting to enter the embassy grounds with the intention of exacting revenge for the killing of children in Gaza. He was wearing a keffiyeh and sunglasses when apprehended.
Asylum Claims Refused
The court was told that Albadri had entered the UK twice by small boat, first in August 2021 and again in April 2025. His applications for asylum were refused on both occasions. Mrs Justice Lambert KC presided over the sentencing hearing.
Albadri showed no emotion as the sentence was delivered. The court noted that the sentence was adjusted to 18 years and 207 days, less time already served while on remand.
