An 18-year-old has pleaded guilty to the murder of Farmanullah Sherzad in Westminster. CCTV footage showed Tajzai chasing and stabbing Mr Sherzad on Abbey Orchard Street in March 2024. He is due to be sentenced in September 2026.

A 17-year-old boy has pleaded not guilty to the murder of 15-year-old Brayan David Saldarriaga, who was stabbed in Hackney on 25 May 2025. His co-defendant, Conneil Mvudi, 18, will enter a plea at a later hearing. The trial is scheduled for 1 March 2027.
A Walthamstow man has been found guilty of murder after stabbing his flatmate to death during an argument over money. Eugeniu Neamtu, 59, will be sentenced at the Old Bailey on 21 August. Police recovered the knife used in the attack from a garden below the flat.

Westminster City Council suspended the licence of the Mistress of Mayfair on 17 August 2026 after a man’s throat was slashed at the St James’s Street venue. Police said the club failed to scan IDs, hindering the investigation. The suspect, Lucci Guthrie, faces attempted murder charges and appears at the Old Bailey on 9 September.
