A member of the public reported seeing the man point his phone up at a woman on the escalator during the morning rush hour. The suspect then boarded a Jubilee line train heading towards Stratford and has not been identified or arrested.
Suspect description and police appeal
The suspect is described as a young man of slim build with a dark moustache and beard. He was wearing an Under Armour jacket over a grey top, grey workwear trousers, a black cap, and white wireless earphones at the time of the incident.
British Transport Police said the man in the image may have information that could assist their investigation. They are urging anyone who recognises him to come forward. The appeal was reported by MyLondon on 25 July.
